Mountaineer Prayer

Lord,
Be with me and my teammates as we enter onto the field of competition.
Help us to conduct ourselves in a manner that is admirable and brings honor to our community.
We have been blessed with healthy bodies and have worked hard to strengthen ourselves both physically and mentally.
Help us to overcome any weakness of spirit that may undo our efforts.
Fortify our faith, so that we will play hard without fear of injury.
Make us mindful of your word, so that we will be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
These things we ask, in the name of Jesus.
